How Many Things are Wrong With This Picture? (Or Just Disturbing Actually)

There’s the whole wasting water in the Middle East thing, for starters.

The toilet backs up to the bathtub for some reason.

Oh, and….yeah.

Whose business? MY business!
This would explain why I find women cleaning the men’s bathroom every time I go to Dizengoff Center (while men are using it).

Thanks, Baila!

Priceless. Benji perfect. Just like the absurd tee-shirts. I am totally re=posting this (with credit, of course)

But there are so many things that are so right! He is licensed, so you know he’s not a fly-by-night contractor. He’s clearly got some artistic talent or friends with artistic talent–just look at the realistic fixtures! And, the slogan is technically true, just seems weird to a puritanical mind to see it written, but perfectly fine to say in conversation. And yeah, is perfectly legitimate in Israel to the point of mothers saying it to their children.
Plus, had to comment because the capcha is toxider, which seems oddly appropriate.

This is so good, the grammar, the picture. It’s all so right I am thinking it’s someone with an Anglo backround who loves Israel because he is free to use toilet humor. (Probobly not from US, maybe Australian).
He probobly has a passion for toilets and plumbing.

You are very welcome, my friend. Thanks for the link. I hope it’s okay that you were the first one I thought of when I saw it!

There are certain words which are unfortunately, acceptable in Hebrew, though are totally unacceptable in non-Israeli settings.

Those words are שיט and פק.

Obviously, you can’t write those in English, because it’s offensive and impolite. Yet in Hebrew, they are acceptable, and unfortunately, they can even be used in prim and proper social settings.

What a wacko country we live in.

Ok, now that’s just disgusting. Perhaps being from America and never having been to Israel, I’m missing something, but EWWWW!!

In NYC its even worse. The cleaning lady sit on her chair and won’t give you a napkin if you won’t drop a little tip in her jar.

to Jameel’s point I’ll never forget the day that the Rosh Yeshiva in a Hesder Yeshiva with an American program said the following in the middle of a shiur klali :
    אני חושב שהשיטה הזאת בולשיט

Anonymous 1104, I heard a minister from Shas say the same comment on something on Galei Tzahal many years ago.
